PANDAA Lassa Virus - micPCR
======================

1. Download the .mictemplate and .micassay template files from https://www.aldatubio.com/qpcr-templates/

The micPCR real-time PCR instrument from Bio Molecular Systems can use two different template files to start the run, with the file extension .mictemplate or .micassay. The micPCR templates contains all real-time PCR cycling conditions as well as the analysis settings for the LASV, IC, and SAC targets.


USING THE .mictemplate TEMPLATE FILE

The .mictemplate file(s) provided by Aldatu Biosciences must be saved in the folder C:\Users\username\Documents\Bio Molecular Systems\micPCR\Templates. This folder should have been automatically created when installing the micPCR software. If this folder is missing then please contact Aldatu Technical Support (support@aldatubio.com). 

In the micPCR software:
1. Select Run from Template from the New menu. 
2. Provided that the .mictemplate file(s) have been saved in the correct location then the software will show the template to select. 
3. Choose PANDAA Lassa Virus and click OK.


USING THE .micassay TEMPLATE FILE

In the micPCR software:
1. Select Run from the New menu.
2. In the new run file, click on the + icon next to the Assays, then select Browse. 
3. Locate and select the PANDAA Lassa Virus.micassay file, which will now be loaded into your new run.


ANALYSIS SETTINGS
======================
Template files provided by Aldatu Biosciences are programmed with the analysis parameters below:

Target Name:		PANDAA Lassa Virus (LASV)
Method:			Dynamic
Exclusion:		Extensive
Fluorescence Cutoff:	5%
Threshold:		Refer to PANDAA Lassa Virus instructions for use.

Target Name:		Internal Control (IC)
Method:			Dynamic
Exclusion:		None
Fluorescence Cutoff:	N/A
Threshold:		Auto

Target Name:		Sample Adequacy Control (SAC)
Method:			Dynamic
